About

I am an award-winning architect, boasting an impressive career spanning over two decades in the building industry. Throughout my journey, I have consistently harnessed the power of cutting-edge 3D visualization tools to guide my design process and empower clients in making pivotal decisions.

Presently, I am a Senior Designer at Mackey Mitchell Architects, in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to this role, I worked at CannonDesign and owp/p. My extensive professional portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects, with a special focus on Healthcare, Laboratory facilities, Student Centers, Residence Halls, and K-12 educational buildings. In every endeavor, my dedication revolves around uncovering ingenious, pragmatic, and unexpected solutions to intricate challenges.

In my role as a Design Leader, I adhere to a core philosophy centered on the art of listening. My approach is iterative, thoughtfully balancing the crafting of designs that harmonize with their context, uphold sustainability principles, and fulfill programmatic objectives. My mission is to blend creativity, practicality, and elegance, ensuring a functional and timeless building.

My career has been marked by a commitment to innovation, an unwavering passion for design, and a steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional results. I take pride in my ability to transform architectural visions into tangible, transformative spaces that leave a lasting impact on both the built environment and the people who inhabit it.
On a personal note, I enjoy hiking and backpacking, brewing and consuming craft beer, making kimchi, visiting national parks, walking my rambunctious dogs Piper & Hilda, and fixing up my 120 year old home.
